Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was on fire as he rose to the top of the Premier League scoring charts on seven goals after his hat-trick against Wolves.

Abraham has now scored seven goals in his last three games for Chelsea, and the 21-year-old is proving that he has what it takes to be Chelsea’s top nine.

Abraham scored his first goal of the game in the 34th minute and bagged a second just before half-time.

Abraham completed his hat-trick with a goal to showcase his individual talent. Receiving a pass from Jorginho, Abraham drove Coady back into the penalty area, checked and went past the Wolves captain and finished with a low, clinical strike across Patricio into the far corner.

Before his hat-trick in the second-half, Abraham has revealed that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard urged him to get a hat-trick in the second half of the game.

“I’ve been working hard and hopefully this can be my season,” Abraham said. “It’s up to me to keep showing the gaffer in every game and training session that I’m hungry and I want success.

“He told me at half-time to stay on and get the hat-trick so I believed and stayed focused. I’ve just got to be ready to take every chance that comes my way with both hands. I’m working hard and I’m just delighted to see that pay off with my goals today as well as the three points.”
