Christian Pulisic has struggled to make much of an impression in the Premier League and the American international has made just one appearance in Chelsea’s last five games.
Pulisic was once again an unused substitute in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Brighton and this has not gone down well in his home country USA.
Willian, Pedro, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who just returned from injury, appear to be ahead of Pulisic in pecking order.
Pulisic admitted after Saturday’s win over Brighton that he’s frustrated not to be in the team.
Pulisic is widely viewed as the most gifted footballer ever produced in the United States and it is expected that his lack of game time will be a talking point in the United States.
The media in the United States have blamed Pulisic’s lack of game time at Chelsea to be an anti-US bias in England.
“How shocking that all three men are English and Pulisic is American, despite people swearing up and down there’s no anti-American bias in English soccer.”
