Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will make his return from injury against Grimsby in the third round of Carabao Cup.
The Blues host Grimsby in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
Hudson-Odoi has been out injured since April after he ruptured his Achilles but he is now set to make his return after two appearances for the U23 team.
The 18-year-old, who signed a new five year deal reportedly worth £180,000-per-week on Thursday, has been tipped to become an important player for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea.
Fellow academy graduate Reece James, who has also returned from an injury, will make his first Chelsea appearance in the game against Grimsby on Wednesday.
James impressed on loan at Wigan last season and he has been tipped for great things at Chelsea. Lampard let Davide Zappacosta leave the club on loan because he has faith in James.
