Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has been out of action since April after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is set to be handed a huge boost with Hudson-Odoi reportedly set to return to match action this week.
According to The Sun, Hudson-Odoi may be back in a Chelsea shirt as early as Friday with the 18 year old featuring in Chelsea’s Under-23 side’s clash with Brighton.
After a mixed start as Chelsea boss, Lampard will be excited with the return of Hudson-Odoi, who impressed for the Blues last season before his injury.
The 18 year old winger is also reportedly close to signing a new deal with the club. It is believed he would sign an 180,000 per week contract with Chelsea soon.
