Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly close to signing a new Chelsea contract, according to The Sun.
Hudson-Odoi’s current contract expires at the end of the current season and the Blues have been desperate to tie the 18-year-old winger down to a new deal.
In January, Hudson-Odoi decided against signing a new contract after getting frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities under former manager Maurizio Sarri.
German champions Bayern Munich made three bids for the 18 year old in January with Hudson-Odoi submitting a transfer request to force a move to Bayern Munich which Chelsea rejected.
The arrival of Frank Lampard as Chelsea boss this summer has seen youngsters get a chance at Chelsea and this has helped convince Hudson-Odoi the best thing for his development could now be to remain in West London.
21 year old Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is also set to be rewarded with improved terms now he is a recognised first team player. Abraham has scored four goals in the Premier League this season for Chelsea.
Talks are also planned with defender Fikayo Tomori, who has forced his way into the first team squad this season under Lampard.
