Chelsea wonderkid Faustino Anjorin is set make his Chelsea debut in Wednesday’s League Cup clash against Grimsby at Stamford Bridge, according to Daily Mail.
The 17 year old attacking midfielder is viewed as one of the club’s brightest academy prospects.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and his assistant Jody Morris have been impressed by the quality of the 17 year old.
Anjorin has scored five goals in his first seven games of the season including a brace in the EFL Trophy win over Swindon last month.
Anjorin, who can play in the No.10 role or as a box to box midfielder, has been compared to fellow academy graduate Ruben Loftus-Cheek; his stats are even said to be slightly better than the England international at the same point of his career.
Anjorin has represented England at every junior level up to the U19’s.
