Alvaro Morata, Michy Batshuayi, Olivier Giroud and Gonzalo Higuain have all been signed to help Chelsea’s attack but none has really been successful like Costa.
In fact, since Chelsea legend Didier Drogba left the club, only Costa really came close to adequately replacing the Ivorian. Radamel Falcao and Alexandre Pato were also signed and failed while Fernando Torres never really rediscovered his Liverpool form that convinced Chelsea to splash big money on him.

Chelsea have been crying out for someone to simply be there in the box and score goals and Abraham seems to be the answer. We definitely haven’t seen the best of Abraham in a Chelsea shirt as he can still improve even more and this is good news for every Chelsea fan.
