The Blues will play Valencia in the Champions League on Tuesday away in Spain.
Ahead of the game against Valencia, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has given an update on the team.
Lampard has confirmed Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger will miss tomorrow’s game against Valencia after he hurt his groin in the 5-2 victory over Wolves on Saturday.
Rudiger made his first Chelsea appearance of the season in the game against Wolves but was replaced at halftime by Kurt Zouma.
Lampard also confirmed the game against Valencia will come too soon for N’Golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James.
“Rudiger is injured,” Lampard confirmed.
“He’s bothered a small groin problem that he’s been carrying for a few weeks, so he’s out and will have a scan later today to discover the extent of that.
“The other three confirmed are fit but not quite match fit yet. Callum and Reece got a game for the U23 which was great, but they probably need another one to get up to speed.
“N’Golo will have more training to do because the injury has been bothering him a little but everyone else is okay for tomorrow.”
