Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be hoping to get his first home win in the Premier League when Chelsea welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge later today.

Lampard will have to do so without the services of three important Chelsea players.

The Blues will be without Antonio Rudiger, Emerson Palmieri and Ruben Loftus-Cheek for the game against Brighton.

Rudiger’s season is yet to truly get going because of injury. The German international missed preseason due to an injury he picked last season at Old Trafford and made his comeback in the 5-2 win over Wolves but he had to be replaced at halftime due to an injury.

Brighton’s visit to Stamford Bridge will be the fourth consecutive game Rudiger will miss.

Emerson Palmieri picked up an injury during the international break and made his injury comeback in the game against Liverpool last weekend but he had to be replaced in the first half after suffering a reoccurrence of the injury.

Loftus-Cheek is still recovering from an injury he suffered in a friendly game before Chelsea’s Europa League final against Arsenal in May.
