Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has warned Chelsea fans not to get used to losing after fans applauded the players off the pitch following the 2-1 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.

Despite going two-down in the first-half, Chelsea pushed Liverpool all the way in the second half despite losing Emerson and Andreas Christensen to injury but failed to find the equaliser.

Mourinho, speaking on Sky Sports, said: “I hope they don’t get used to it, just because your team plays well and you accept defeat.

“I think when you get used to it is when the big clubs, they stop becoming the big clubs.

“So, I don’t think they’ll get used to it but I think it shows that people are ready for what the season is going to be for them.”

  1. Mourinho is petty since it has shown Lampard can play beautiful football with youngsters he himself adamantly refused to give chances for their quick integration into first team. Had he guided and handled these players in their maturing years De Brune, Salah, Lukaku, Oscar all would be part of a formidable team now.
Lampard is way much good in his approach to game. If you lose two defenders in first half makes you be with one sub.
Abraham should have been withdrawn at 60th Min but Lampard couldnt for he didnt know the eventuality that again could happen. Had he the three subs Pedro would have come for Mason. Batshuayi would have come for Abraham.
