Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic is best known for giving cocky answers whenever he’s asked any question by the media, and it has indeed worked for the former Manchester United striker over the years as he has matched his confident talks with even more confident displays and stunning goals.

The United States have an upcoming friendly match against Mexico this Friday, and Pulisic was asked who was the better player between him and Mexico superstar Hirving “Chucky” Lozano, now at Napoli.

Pulisic responded by saying that he isn’t Ibra as he refused to answer the question.

Pulisic said according to Associated Press: “I’m not going to give you like an Ibra answer here. I’ll never be comfortable. I don’t like being in front of cameras, I’m still getting used to it, I guess.”

The U.S team has struggled of late and failed to qualify for the last two Olympics as well as the 2018 World Cup. Pulisic is keen for his national team to bounce back and he aims to help the USMNT compete amongst the world’s best in meaningful tournaments, be that a World Cup, a Gold Cup, or the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

He said: “I would never completely count that out because it’s a huge honor to play for your country in the Olympics. A lot of factors come into play, I guess, but we’ll see.”

“We’re a confident young group of guys and I think there’s no reason why we couldn’t. We set big goals for ourselves and, yeah, that would be one of them. That would be something I think we could do.”
