Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard sealed a move to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, as the Los Blancos signed the Belgian in a deal that could rise up to £150m.
Hazard was the star of the Chelsea team when he was at the club in his seven-year spell and the Chelsea fans weren’t keen to lose their star man.
Hazard made his Madrid derby clash in the game against Atletico Madrid, but his night ended in the 77th minute when he was replaced by James Rodriguez, having failed to get a shot away and recording one successful dribble.
Hazard has struggled so far for Real Madrid, and despite Madrid topping the league, Hazard has yet to hit the Spanish league on fire.
Madrid bought Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Belgian hasn’t yet proved that he can reach the heights of the former World best player so far.
Madrid fans who aren’t patient with players have already started mocking their summer signing despite that he only just returned from injury.
however, Madrid boss Zinedine has chosen to back the Belgian star.
He said: “We know the player we have. He will respond at any time. He did in Seville. Everyone expects more from him and he knows that.
“But we’re with him and he’s with us. You have to go game by game and he is going to be the player we want him to be.This type of player is prepared for these matches. I have no doubt about Hazard or the rest of the players.
“We are thinking about an outing in a great performance, we know that it will be difficult and that we will have to do things right from the first minute to the last. We need to be prepared.”
