Chelsea beat Grimsby Town 7-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to book our passage to the Carabao Cup fourth round and a first home win of the season.
Despite making eleven changes to the starting XI, the Blues dominated Grimsby with Michy Batshuayi scoring a brace with further goals from Ross Barkley, Pedro, Reece James, Kurt Zouma and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The Blues had a pass success rate of 88 per cent against Grimsby, as we completed 613 of our 698 passes with 65 per cent of those played forward.
Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley was the most accurate passer of the outfield players on the pitch with the England international finding a team-mate 97 per cent of the time. Gilmour did so with 93 per cent of his passes, and Zouma and Marc Guehi 90 per cent of theirs.
Barkley will be hoping his performance against Grimsby earns him a start against Brighton this weekend.
