Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham rose to the top of the Premier League scoring charts on seven goals after his hat-trick against Wolves.

The 21 year old striker set a new Chelsea record after his hat-trick against Wolves as he became the youngest Chelsea player to score a Premier League hat-trick.

Abraham scored his first of the game after 34 minutes to give Chelsea a 2-goal lead after Fikayo Tomori had opened the scoring for the Blues.

He scored his second of the game to make it 3-0 for the Blues after leaping above Conor Coady to head an Alonso cross past Wolves goalkeeper Patricio.

Abraham completed his hat-trick with a goal to showcase his individual talent. Receiving a pass from Jorginho, Abraham drove Coady back into the penalty area, checked and went past the Wolves captain and finished with a low, clinical strike across Patricio into the far corner.

Despite netting a hat-trick, Abraham has revealed that he was disappointed that the team couldn’t keep a clean sheet, as Chelsea’s defensive woes continued by conceding two goals.

“It’s been an amazing day,” reflected Abraham after the game.

“Coming to a place like Wolves is never easy so the manner of the victory is something we can be very pleased with. We played well, scored goals and got three points to take home with us so it’s been a great day.

“Obviously we did concede two goals and that is something we’re disappointed about because a clean sheet would have been fantastic but we will take the positives out of this performance and take it into the next game.”
