Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham had scored seven goals in his last three games for Chelsea before the game against Valencia on Tuesday night but he was denied a goal by Valencia goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.
The 21-year-old striker has impressed for the Blues this season and tops the Premier League scorers chart alongside Kun Aguero with 7 goals each.
In his last three league matches, it has been two braces and a hat-trick for Abraham and his performances have caught the rest of the league by surprise.
Abraham has played down his early season form and has linked it to his manager and his teammates.
Asked about his fast start to the season – in which he’s scored seven league goals in four starts – he humbly said: “I have to give it to the manager, the players as well.
“I had a little situation against Liverpool where I missed the penalty myself and from there they’ve just supported me and believed in me.
“Playing with such great players who create great chances, it’s just about me being in the right place at the right time.”
