Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham took his tally to seven in three games as he scored a hat-trick to help Chelsea beat Wolves 5-2 at the Molineux on Saturday.
Abraham’s hat-trick against Wolves was a perfect response to his omission from the England squad by Gareth Southgate.
The 21 year old striker set a new Chelsea record after his hat-trick against Wolves as he became the youngest Chelsea player to score a Premier League hat-trick.
Abraham scored his first of the game after 34 minutes to give Chelsea a 2-goal lead after Fikayo Tomori had opened the scoring for the Blues.
He scored his second of the game to make it 3-0 for the Blues after leaping above Conor Coady to head an Alonso cross past Wolves goalkeeper Patricio.
Abraham completed his hat-trick with a goal to showcase his individual talent. Receiving a pass from Jorginho, Abraham drove Coady back into the penalty area, checked and went past the Wolves captain and finished with a low, clinical strike across Patricio into the far corner.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be expecting more of the same from Abraham against Valencia on Tuesday in the Champions League.
