Eden Hazard left Chelsea for Real Madrid during the summer and the Spanish club were also interested in a deal for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is a huge admirer of Kante and wants the World Cup winner in Madrid.
According to Spanish outlet Defensa Central via The Express, Real Madrid and Chelsea have come to an agreement regarding Kante.
According to the report, Chelsea have agreed to notify Real Madrid should the Blues ever receive any offers for the player. The Blues have reportedly agreed to let Real Madrid know should they decide to put the 28-year-old up for sale.
The Blues reportedly reached this agreement with Real Madrid because of Real’s good behaviour during the summer. Real did not push or bully Chelsea into selling Hazard during the summer.
Kante recently admitted to being flattered by Real’s interest in him but insisted he’s happy at Chelsea.
Kante said: “It’s rewarding to be wanted by big clubs.
“When coaches want you in their project it’s nice.
“But I’m happy with my choices and feel good at Chelsea. I’m planning for the next season at Chelsea.”
