Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been hailed as a better striker than Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford by former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas.
Abraham is the Premier League’s joint scorer with 7 goals after just five games and he is only 3 goals worse than Rashford’s best result ever (10 goals in 2018-19).
According to Jenas, Abraham is a natural poacher compared to Rashford.
“As good as Rashford is, I look at [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang and Tammy Abraham and they get lots of scruffy goals, the tap-ins. Marcus doesn’t score many tap ins,” Jenas told the Express.
“He epitomises Manchester United. He has quality, work rate and the ability to go on and be world-class. But in that central position, I am not sure he is the answer.
“I fear they might not score enough goals. And the ability to dictate a game of football will cost them eventually.”
