Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has struggled for games this season, and the 26-year-old finds himself behind Tammy Abraham in the Chelsea first team.
Batshuayi had an impressive loan spell at Crystal Palace last season and Palace boss Roy Hodgson is thought to be interested in the Belgium international and could possibly make a move in the January transfer window.
Batshuayi is yet to start a game in the Premier League this season but has impressed in his cameo appearances. In fact he has scored three goals for the Blues this season. Batshuayi is very prolific both for club and country, and was on target as Belgium defeated Kazakhstan 2-0 on Sunday.
Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has urged Batshuayi to try and get more game time or leave the club.
Martinez said: “He doesn’t play enough at Chelsea. I think that’s a shame, even though he scores a lot with the national team.
“I hope he will play more, because we really need him… But then he has to play. Otherwise a solution must be found.”
By suggesting that Batshuayi finds a solution, Martinez is clearly implying that he makes the move to where he can get game time.
