Chelsea legend Gary Cahill left the Blues at the end of last season after his contract with Chelsea ran out, and the 33-year-old joined fellow Londoners Crystal Palace on a free transfer.
Cahill won multiple trophies for Chelsea, and the former Chelsea skipper has urged his new club not to be afraid of the Premier League big boys.
Cahill won two Premier League titles with Chelsea, the Champions League and two Europa League crowns as well as the FA Cup and League Cup.
The veteran defender has seen it all in the game and has urged Palace not to show fear when up against the big guns.
He said: “In the past Crystal Palace have upset quite a few big teams along the way, they have a reputation of doing that.
“There is certainly nothing to be fearful of, but at the same time we have to be respectful of the quality they have. You have to be switched on against the bigger teams because they can hurt you at any moment.
“To have all the games together, we know it will be a difficult time, but I’m sure we have the ability to upset a few of them along the way.”
