Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who currently plays for Monaco, has revealed the Liverpool player he would love to play behind.
Fabregas hailed Liverpool forward Sadio Mane as one of the top three players in the world after he scored in Liverpool’s 4-3 win over RB Salzburg on Wednesday night.
Fabregas was impressed with the performance of Mane against RB Salzburg and believes the forward has been a top three player for awhile.
“Mane for me is top 3 players in the world and has been for a while,” Fabregas tweeted. “Top top level.”
A fan disagreed with Fabregas but he backed up his claim by saying he would love to play behind Mane.
A fan tweeted: “Cesc this is a really rare L from you I’m afraid” to which Fabregas backed up his claim, replying “Believe me he’s amazing. I’d love to play behind him.”
