Chelsea have grown into being one of the top football teams in the world, and Chelsea followership have grown over the years around the world.
Recent stats by Football Benchmark has shown that Chelsea have the fifth most followers on social media in the world and have the second most followers in the Premier League.
To get the data, Football Benchmark judged from followers on four major social media sites: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube.
Real Madrid have the most following in the world with 249 million, and they are closely followed by Barcelona with 246 million. Manchester United are third in the list and number one in the Premier League with 130m followers. Juventus are in 4th place with 85 million followers and then Chelsea with 82 million.
To show how far Chelsea have come, the Blues signed a five-year partnership with Japanese company Yokohama Tyres, and it was the second-biggest in the Premier League when it was announced in 2015.
The Roman Abramovich owned club are in talks over extending their £200million deal with Yokohama Tyres as the current contract enters its final year.
