According to Daily Mail, Chelsea and Premier League leaders Liverpool are set to battle for the signature of Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook.
The 22-year-old returned to action last month having been sidelined since December with knee-ligament damage.
Cook captained the England teams which won the Under-20 World Cup in 2017 and the Toulon Tournament 12 months later. He made his England debut last year.
According to Daily Mail, Chelsea and Liverpool have identified the 22 year old as a target, should he prove his form and fitness this season.
Chelsea are reportedly want an emerging English talent and Cook’s high energy style in the middle of the park is thought to be the attraction.
Cook is under contract at Bournemouth until 2022.
