Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is set to be rewarded for his excellent start to life in the Premier League with a new and lucrative contract.
According to reputable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are close to an agreement and more than confident to complete Abraham’s contract talks in the next few days.
Romano had tweeted in September that the Blues had opened talks with Abraham over a new deal at the club, and he has now confirmed that Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement with the 22 year old.
It is understood that the new deal will keep the striker at the club until 2024.
Abraham currently earns £50,000-per-week at the club and Chelsea are willing to double his wages at the club.
Abraham has scored 9 goals in 12 appearances for Chelsea this season.
