Chelsea legend John Terry posted a snap of his latest coaching badge on his Instagram page as the 38-year-old is making massive progress towards becoming a football manager.
Terry is currently working as the assistant head coach to Aston Villa boss Dean Smith, and the legendary centre-back helped guide his side to Premier League promotion as he beat Frank Lampard’s Derby County in the Championship playoff final last season.
Terry has now revealed he has taken a big step towards the next move in his managerial career as he posted a snap of his latest coaching certificate – FA Level 4 (UEFA A).
Terry captioned the post: “A License!
“Now onto my Pro License.”
Excited Chelsea fans have called on the Chelsea legend to come and coach his former side where he played more than 700 games – a club he joined since he was 14.
“Future Chelsea coach,” one Chelsea supporter commented.
Another fan commented: “Keep it up JT.
“I want to see you back at the Bridge,” said another.
“Frank [Lampard] and John link-up in the 2020/21 season,” another fan said.
A fourth added: “Come to Chelsea.”
Another fan simply said: “Can’t wait until you return to the Bridge one day.”
