According to talkSPORT, Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has a point to prove at the club after the international break.
Batshuayi has scored three goals for Chelsea in all competitions but the striker is yet to start a Premier League game this season.
talkSPORT wrote: “He’s back in the fold at Chelsea, despite being ostracised for the past 18 months.
“The Belgian was always the Blues’ second-choice striker behind Diego Costa or Alvaro Morata, but seemingly had fresh hope at the club after scoring the title-winning goal in 2017.
“This was soon dashed as six months later the £33million man went out on loan to Borussia Dortmund, then to Valencia, then to Crystal Palace.
“Despite none of these spells being hugely successful, Batshuayi has found himself benefiting from the Blues’ lack of strikers and current transfer ban which has forced Frank Lampard to give him one last chance in the side.
“Now 26, Michy must show he deserves to be at Stamford Bridge this year, or he’ll surely get the boot once Chelsea are allowed to spend again next summer.”
