Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori had a good game as Chelsea beat Lille 2-1 in France on Wednesday.
Tomori completed 70 passes against Lille. Only Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta (92) and Kurt Zouma (77) completed more passes than the young defender. He had a pass accuracy of 87.5%. Chelsea’s overall pass accuracy was 87%.
Tomori was our top tackler, winning all five of the challenges he went in for. Jorginho and Kante won four each.
Tomori didn’t just impress at the back against Lille, he also impressed in attack for Chelsea as he provided the assist for Tammy Abraham’s goal against Lille.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reserved special praise for 21-year-old defender, telling BT Sport: “Fikayo was outstanding again. He has to keep on with that.”
