Former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has informed Juventus vice chairman Pavel Nedved of his desire to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, according to Daily Mail.
Sarri, now Juventus boss, was impressed by Kante during his time as Chelsea boss and wants a reunion with the Chelsea midfielder.
Juventus reportedly believe Chelsea will be willing to let Kante leave Stamford Bridge for around £70m.
According to Daily Mail, Sarri believes a combination of Aaron Ramsey, Miralem Pjanic and Kante would be the best midfield in Europe, backed by a number of high quality options from the bench.
It is believed Kante could be tempted to join Juventus due to allure of playing with compatriots Blaise Matuidi, Adrien Rabiot and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kante is a key part of Frank Lampard’s Chelsea but injuries have limited his appearance for Chelsea this season.
