Chelsea sit in seventh place after a mixed start to the Premier League season.

The Blues lost Eden Hazard to Real Madrid this summer and were unable to replace him due to a transfer ban by FIFA.

According to former Chelsea defender Glen Johnson, Chelsea losing Hazard to Real Madrid and the club’s inability to sign a replacement means the Blues will miss out on a top four this season.

Johnson believes sixth would be a good season for Chelsea.

“The way they can’t sign anyone, they lost their best player and can’t replace him,” Johnson told TalkSPORT.

“They’ve got to give kids a chance and some of them have never played in the Premier League before.

“I think sixth would be a good season for them.”
