It was a difficult night for England as they were beaten 2-1 by Czech Republic in their Euro 2020 qualifying game.

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount got his first start for the Three Lions but couldn’t stop them from losing their first competitive qualifier in ten years after their defeat to Czech Republic.

Harry Kane had scored a penalty inside the first five minutes of the game, but it took the Czechs just four minutes to level the scores from a corner. With five minutes left, Zdenek Ondrásek netted the winning goal for the home side on his debut.

Ross Barkley replaced Mount with 20 minutes left of the game, Fikayo Tomori was an unused sub, while Tammy Abraham came on for the closing stages.

Christian Pulisic was on the scoresheet as USA thumped Cuba 7-0 in their first CONCACAF Nations League fixture. Weston McKennie scored a hat-trick inside the first 13 minutes and it was 6-0 by half-time. Pulisic, who captained the States, scored the seventh goal from the penalty spot shortly after the hour mark. Matt Miazga played the entire minutes of the game.

Olivier Giroud scored the only goal for France as they defeated Iceland 1-0 courtesy of a 66th minute penalty.

Mateo Kovacic came on as a second-half sub as Croatia defeated Hungary 3-0.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
