Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has identified two current Chelsea players who could become managers in future.
According to Lampard, Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicueta could end up as managers in future.
Asked if he believes there are any potential managers currently in his squad, Lampard told Sky Sports: “I would encourage them not to do their badges because I want them to focus on their game, it’s quite difficult.
“I would certainly encourage them that when we are having meetings, which we have a lot of, when we’re training and things change and we’re trying different things, that they take it in and think about it.
“That can certainly help you as you get more experienced as a player and think about management.
“It’s tough to say, I’ve got good leaders like Azpilicueta who is a professional and how he works, he’s the captain and with good reason, because he sets such a good example so yeah he’s a football man who I would imagine will stay in the game.
“Then Jorginho who has recently become vice-captain, part of the reasoning from that from my point of view, he thinks the game and he’s a winner. He’s very forthright with how he is in the dressing room but as a thinker, after training, you’re always asking questions.
“I think he has a great chance to move anyway because he’s such a thinker, always taking on information.”
