Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Ajax on Wednesday means the Blues have now won six games in a row in all competitions.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has warned his players that winning six games in a row is dangerous as it can make them switch off.

He wants the players to still maintain the same hunger.

“When you come into a new club, you do make changes and maybe the message is different from before, and you rely on the whole squad taking that in and working with that,” Lampard said, as quoted by The Telegraph.

“The signs are good at the moment, the signs are good. But I said to the players before the game that five wins is really dangerous because it can make you sloppy, it can make you switch off, and six wins is even more dangerous. So that’s the message.”
