According to Daily Mail, Chelsea scouts watched Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as part of the club’s preparation for a summer bid.

Chelsea scouts watched the Serbian international feature for Lazio on Thursday night as Lazio lost 2-1 to Celtic.

Lazio reportedly value the Serbian midfielder at £86m but the Blues reportedly intend submitting an opening bid of £52million next year.

Milinkovic-Savic have scored 33 goals and assisted a further 23 since joining Lazio four years ago.

Premier League rivals Manchester United are also interested in the midfielder and have reportedly secured a verbal agreement with Milinkovic-Savic over personal terms.

Chelsea have a huge transfer budget thanks to the sell of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and the transfer embargo.

  1. No need to buy any midfielder, already got many talents in that area. Just buy quality center back, our defender still conceded many goals

  2. Buy one top notch striker of age 24 to assist Tammy when after many games he will start showing signs of fatigue and also top notch two centre backs of ages between 22-24
