Michy Batshuayi impressed for Belgium in their 2-0 Euro 2020 qualifier against Kazakhstan on Sunday, scoring Belgium’s first goal.

Batshuayi has now scored 15 goals for Belgium in just 27 appearances for Belgium and some Chelsea fans think it’s time to start Batshuayi in the Premier League.

Batshuayi is yet to start a league game for Chelsea this season but scored against Southampton after coming off the bench.

Starting Batshuayi would mean Tammy Abraham, who has scored 9 goals already for Chelsea, drops to the bench.

After Chelsea’s official Twitter page tweeted an image of Batshuayi celebrating his goal for Belgium, fans replied to the tweet, urging Lampard to start Batshuayi.

“Bench Abraham and start Batshuayi against Newcastle,” a Chelsea fan responded to the tweet.

“This guy has to be starting at Chelsea,” responded another fan.

Another Chelsea fan responded: “Batman still proving a point with Belgium… Lamps take note of that.”

“Lampard should be fair enough to give him more opportunities to play,” said one Twitter user.

“Lampard should give him some chance,” replied another supporter.

“Batman in the starting line up,” another Chelsea fan urged.

Should Lampard drop Tammy Abraham and start Batshuayi?
