Real Madrid secured the signing of Eden Hazard during the summer as they signed him up to become a replacement for departed star Cristiano Ronaldo.
And now, with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric approaching the end of their careers, the Los Blancos are targeting Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante as their replacement.
Real Madrid are preparing a bid for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante with the Spanish club set to offer Chelsea €100m plus James Rodríguez to try and sign the Frenchman.
It is believed Chelsea value Kante at €160m, while Madrid value Rodríguez at €65m.
With Chelsea seemingly uninterested in the deal, El Desmarque are now claiming that the Los Blancos will try to tempt Kante away with Gareth Bale plus €70m.
Real Madrid have signed two Chelsea stars in Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard in recent times, and are now keen on making Kante the latest Galactico.
It will indeed be difficult for Madrid to steal Kante as the Frenchman only recently signed a five-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2023, and Kante won’t try to force a move away from Chelsea.
Kante is currently Chelsea’s best player and won’t be risked for the upcoming game against Newcastle as he picked up an injury on international duty.
He will be assessed during the next 48 hours as the medical team will try to get him ready for the Ajax game next Wednesday.
