Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud came off the bench to score his 38th international goal as France were held 1-1 by Turkey in Paris.
France failed to secure automatic qualification for UEFA Euro 2020 after the 1-1 draw with Turkey on Monday night.
With France dominating but failing to score against Turkey, Giroud came on in the 72nd minute and scored four minutes later to give France a deserved lead.
His goal against Turkey was his 38th goal for France. Only Thierry Henry (51) and Michel Platini (41) have scored more for France.
Turkey scored a dramatic equaliser in the 81st minute and held on for a draw.
