The Chelsea first team is currently buzzing as a number of Chelsea youngsters have found their way into the Chelsea first team.
The likes of Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham have already worked their way into the team, while Callum Hudson-Odoi who’s only just returned from a long-term injury is also finding his way back into the first team.
Chelsea’s technical and performance advisor Petr Cech has praised Chelsea’s youngsters for cementing their places in Frank Lampard’s starting XI, but he’s warned them that the hard work has only began.
“In this moment I think everyone is enjoying the moment, but obviously it all depends on performances,” the technical and performance advisor told Chelsea’s website.
“This is just the start, the beginning, for them and they have to make sure they stay consistent and carry on. And then as a club we move forward, and as a team we play well.
“I have to say it’s always great when you manage to, as a club, do something with your own product, because this is always the ultimate target for everybody.
“You try to make sure that people go through your programme, you make them better, and then they actually reach the level where you can put them in the first team, you don’t have to look elsewhere.”
