Chelsea got the vital three points away at the Johan Cryuff Arena, and the Blues were awesome tonight.

See how the players performed:

Kepa: Was very much protected by his defence, and pretty much handled all that came to him. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Played with his heart today as he made some vital interceptions. Was brilliant at the back for Chelsea. 8/10

Zouma: Strong and excellent performance from the Frenchman. Had one moment of madness where he gave the ball away and rushed in to make a rash tackle that earned him a yellow card. Other than that, he was superb. 8/10

Tomori: Another solid defending as he combined well with Zouma. Took the ball out from the back very well, his passing was calm and his defending was pro. 7.5/10

Alonso: Managed to handle Ajax dangerman Hakim Ziyech and he had a good game. 7/10

Jorginho: The first 10 to 15 minutes of the game was quite difficult for him as he didn’t control the game as he’d have liked, but he improved as the game wore on. Was a lot better in the second half. 7.5/10

Kovacic: Probably our best midfielder tonight as he worked hard for the team and his driving runs from midfield was superb. 8/10

Mount: Worked hard for the team and had one moment where he tested the goalkeeper in the first-half. Good game but lacked some creativity going forward. 7/10

Willian: Wasn’t his day tonight as he didn’t have the best of games. Subbed off for Pulisic in the second-half. 5/10

Hudson-Odoi: Started the game brightly in the first 20 minutes as he used his pace and trickery to trouble the Ajax right-back, but he got caught out afterwards and his delivery in the final third became poor. Did better in the second-half. 6/10

Tammy Abraham: Had some good moments but didn’t have a sniff on goal. Wasn’t an easy night for the lanky striker. 6/10

Pulisic: Excellent game from the American. Everything he did was perfect as he changed the game for Chelsea and also helped the Blues keep possession towards the end as Chelsea tried to hold on to the lead. Sweet assist for Batshuayi. 9/10

Batshuayi: Scored the all important goal with some nice finishing to make up for his earlier miss. Brought presence to the Chelsea attack. 8/10

Reece James: Late sub for Hudson-Odoi to seal the game.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
