It could easily have been a Chelsea onslaught at the Turf Moor as Frank Lampard’s side continued the winning momentum by beating a difficult Sean Dyche’s side.

A Christian Pulisic hat-trick and a beautiful strike from Willian gave Chelsea the three points.

Kepa: Had little to do all game. Made a good save in the first-half to stop a deflected Erik Pieters’ shot that was going in. unfortunate to concede the two late goals. 5/10

Azpilicueta: Started the game as a right-back and ended as a left-back and was solid. 6/10

Zouma: Held his ground in what was another consistent performance. Would be unhappy that the team lowered morale late in the game and couldn’t keep a clean sheet. 6/10

Tomori: Another good game where he marshalled the defence with expertise against the threats of Jay Rodriguez and Ashley Barnes. Unlucky that a shot deflected off him into the net for Burnley’s second. 7/10

Alonso: Did his job neatly. Taken off after the hour mark for Reece James to have a go. 6/10

Jorginho: He just keeps proving his quality with each game as he made the midfield tick. His partnership with Kovacic is getting better too. 7.5/10

Kovacic: Amazing performance from the Croat. He’s amazing on the ball and his runs are just awesome and were a threat to Burnley. Made it easy for Chelsea to attack. 8/10

Mount: Worked hard as usual and assisted Pulisic to score his third goal. 7/10

Willian: Found the target with a low shot across goal after a quick turn of pace that deceived the Burnley defence and also Nick Pope. 7/10

Pulisic: Perfect game for the American as he scored a perfect hat-trick with his left foot, right foot and a header. Amazing week for the 21-year-old. 9/10

Abraham: Decent performance from the young striker. Got an assist for Willian’s goal with a nice run and pass. 6/10


James: Replaced Alonso after the hour mark and made two vital blocks shortly after coming on. 6/10

Giroud: Came on for Abraham but didn’t do much. 5/10

Hudson-Odoi: Bright cameo after replacing Willian in the 72nd minute. Won a penalty which was cancelled out by VAR. Lively game nevertheless. 6/10
