It seems luck was against Chelsea tonight as the Blues conceded from two set pieces against Manchester United as Chelsea crashed out of the Carabao Cup.

Caballero: Conceded from a penalty and a stunning free-kick which he couldn’t do much from. His passing out from the back wasn’t top notch. 5/10

Zouma: Calm in defence as Manchester United didn’t really create more chances. 6/10

Guehi: Didn’t look ruffled as he had a good game in defence. Was never troubled. 6/10

James: Didn’t start brightly but got better as the game wore off. Dished out some excellent crosses from the right. 6/10

Alonso: Conceded a needless penalty in the first half when the attacking player was well surrounded by Chelsea defenders. To his defence, it shouldn’t have been a penalty. Had a decent game beside the penalty incident. 5/10

Jorginho: Was the captain on the night and his passing was good as usual. 6/10

Gilmour: Worked hard, moved the ball and had a good game. It looked like Chelsea’s midfield lost steam after he was taken off with 20 minutes left. 6.5/10

Kovacic: Didn’t play to his best as he looked fatigued at times. 5/10

Hudson-Odoi: Had some moments where he threatened, but he wasn’t generally good. 5/10

Pulisic: Looked out of place tonight. Taken off for Pedro with 20 minutes left. 5/10

Batshuayi: Was a beast upfront and his goal was super awesome as he made a mess of Harry Maguire. 7/10

Mount: Didn’t impact the game after coming on for Gilmour. 4/10

Pedro: Didn’t do much after replacing Pulisic. 4/10

Tammy Abraham: Was anonymous after replacing Michy Batshuayi late on. 4/10
