Christian Pulisic has endured a difficult start to life at Chelsea since his £58m transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
The American international produced a lively 26-minute cameo after replacing Mason Mount against Newcastle United.
Minutes after Marcos Alonso scored against Newcastle United, Pulisic had a chance to score himself but chose to pass to Tammy Abraham, who was in a better position.
However, his pass to Abraham was blocked by a Newcastle United player and Pulisic regrets not taking a shot himself instead.
“I was going to shoot last-second, but I saw Tammy wide open and then DeAndre made an unbelievable block, so maybe I should have shot it,” Pulisic told ESPN.
“I just don’t have that scoring touch but I know it will come back.”
Was Pulisic right to find Abraham or should he have taken a shot himself?
