The name Jose Mourinho is one that will always ring a bell especially among Chelsea fans. The Portuguese still remains the most successful manager at the club and could probably be the one Chelsea fans had loved the most.
However, the love the Blues fans had for him turned to hatred when he signed up for Manchester United and took a dig at his former club by claiming United fans are more passionate than Chelsea fans and also revealed his love for United as well as many other digs targeted at Chelsea.
Mourinho also had a heated relationship with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and the duo even came close to exchanging punches at one time.
With Mauricio Pochettino struggling this season at Tottenham, reports claim Mourinho could be the next manager of one of Chelsea’s biggest rivals, and this might further sour the already strained relationship he has with Chelsea fans.
According to reports, Spurs are interested in Mourinho and believe that he could be the missing link that will bring trophies to Tottenham.
A report claims that at the moment, Pochettino is not facing the sack but Mourinho is being followed anyway. The Spurs board hold the Portuguese in high esteem as the 56-year-old could potentially take over at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
