Michy Batshuayi is yet to start a Premier League for Chelsea this season while Christian Pulisic hasn’t started a Premier League game for Chelsea since the 2-2 draw against Sheffield United in August.
Batshuayi and Pulisic combined for Chelsea’s fourth goal in the 4-1 win over Southampton early this month after they both came in as subs and they did it again against Ajax on Wednesday night.
Pulisic yet again provided the assist for Batshuayi’s winner in Chelsea’s 1-0 Champions League victory over Ajax.
Tammy Abraham failed to get a shot on goal in the game against Ajax and some are suggesting Chelsea boss Frank Lampard starts Batshuayi against Burnley on Saturday.
Willian also had a quiet game against Ajax and some fans are also suggesting Lampard rest Willian and start Pulisic against Burnley.
Pulisic has impressed in Chelsea’s last three games after coming on as a substitute and it is believed he deserves a start.
Should Lampard start Pulisic and Batshuayi against Burnley? If yes, which players should the boss drop?
