Chelsea put in a massive performance as the Blues defeated Newcastle 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to climb up to fourth on the table.

A number of Chelsea players were in fine form against the Magpies, and two Chelsea stars made it to Jamie Redknapp’s EPL team of the week.

(4-3-3) Pickford; Guilbert, Rodri, Amadou, Alonso; Doucoure, Grealish, Lallana; Hudson-Odoi, Walcott, Jesus

Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso made the left-back spot after scoring the match winner at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi was the man of the match against Newcastle, and it was he who gave the pass to Alonso to fire home.

Hudson-Odoi became the second youngest player (18y346d) in Premier League history to assist in three consecutive appearances, behind only Michael Owen (18y 27d) in January 1998.
