Chelsea will be away to Ajax in the Champions League group H clash and it’s a massive game for the Blues.

Ajax top Group H with six points having beaten both Lille and Valencia, while Chelsea lost their opening group game to Valencia, and are currently third in the group.

Erik ten Hag’s side are group favourites having narrowly missed out on the final last season following a last-minute goal from Tottenham in the semi-finals, and they have started the season in good form as they are yet to lose a game in their league and the Champions League this season.

Ten Hag has revealed that his side is confident heading to Wednesday’s clash and has assured that his team isn’t afraid of Chelsea and will beat the Blues.

The Ajax boss told Kicker: “We have self-confidence and developed a playing style with which can cause problems for any opponent.

“We aren’t afraid of any team and can beat Chelsea. But for that we need on Wednesday is a top performance.”
