Chelsea are level on points with Valencia in the Champions League Group H, with Ajax topping the group that also has Lille.
Ajax are top of the group having won their opening two games, and Chelsea will travel to Amsterdam on October 23 to face the Dutch champions who reached the Champions League semi-finals last season.
Willian who scored the winning goal for Chelsea against Lille admits it’ll be a tough game against Ajax but insists that the Blues can win the game.
“For sure it will be a tough game and we need to prepare well for this game,” said Willian about the Ajax clash.
“We know how difficult it is going to be but I think we can do the same job as we did on Wednesday night. We have to work together like we are doing and then results are going to come like this one.
“We deserved to win and we needed to win. We have worked hard every day and the lads did an amazing job against Lille. It is a tough place to play, Lille have a good team, they play well so we did a great job and we have to carry on in the same way.”
It was a special night for Willian as his start for Chelsea against Lille was his 300th appearance for Chelsea and he marked the occasion by scoring Chelsea’s winner.
The goal against Lille was also Willian’s 54th goal in Chelsea colours.
