Besides the fact that Chelsea are beginning to get wins and pick up some nice victories and play better as a team, one thing that’s common in Frank squad is team chemistry.

The hallmark of every successful team is the team spirit and Lampard has already embedded it into his Chelsea squad.

Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Ajax at the Johan Cruyff ArenA produced grit, determination, character and also team spirit. Chelsea’s team spirit was shown in the way Abraham celebrated with Michy Batshuayi after the game.

Abraham was replaced by Batshuayi in the second half, with the duo competing for the striker’s shirt – but it was the 22-year-old first choice striker who ran over to his teammate and gave him a big hug, thus congratulating him on the late impact he had in the game.

In fact, Abraham had to sprint to meet Batshuayi immediately after the game to show his support as observed by Oliver Harbod.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea star Joe Cole has hailed the victory as Lampard’s best ever as a manager.

“It was a top class performance and certainly Frank’s best performance since he went over,” BT Sport pundit Cole said.

“From being in and around the club it just feels right, Players who may have felt pushed aside or unsure of their future, they are now producing big moments for the club and it is credit to Frank and his staff. It is really looking good at Chelsea.”
