Willian started and scored Chelsea’s winner as the Blues beat Lille 2-1 to hand Frank Lampard his first win in Europe as Chelsea manager.

Chelsea had to win at Lille after losing our first Champions League game this season at home to Valencia.

It was a special night for Willian as his start for Chelsea against Lille was his 300th appearance for Chelsea and he marked the occasion by scoring Chelsea’s winner.

Willian scored with a superb volley which was struck into the ground to then bounce over the Lille goalkeeper, with Callum Hudson-Odoi providing the assist for the goal on his first Champions League appearance.

The goal against Lille was also Willian’s 54th goal in Chelsea colours.

Congrats Willian.
