Willian has revealed it’s a bit weird having his former teammate Frank Lampard as his boss now.
Willian joined Chelsea from Russian club Anzhi in the summer of 2013, Lampard’s final season at Stamford Bridge as a player.
Willian and Lampard shared the pitch on 26 occasions, including for Willian’s first game, against Basel, and Lampard’s last, at home to Norwich.
“He was an intelligent player, one of the best in his position,” Willian told Chelsea’s official website.
“A quality player. When you see players like him you can say maybe in the future he can become a manager, and he’s here with us!
“It’s a bit weird he is my boss now, but I am very happy to work with him again.”
