Chelsea, Ajax and Valencia are all tied in seven points in the Champions League group H after four round of matches.
The group remains a tough one and anyone out of the three teams have a good chance of qualification.
After getting four points in our double header against Ajax, the Blues will next play Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium on November 27th. All Chelsea need to do is beat the Spanish side with at least a two-goal margin and the Blues qualification will be a done deal.
In the Champions League, head to head is the first qualification yardstick if two teams are levelled on points, and while Chelsea have a better head to head against Ajax, the Blues will need to beat Valencia to rectify their head to head record with the Spanish club, and a two-goal win will even seal a better head to head for the Blues and thus Chelsea will qualify from the group no matter the outcome of our final game against Lille. If Chelsea can even win the remaining two games, the Blues will definitely qualify as group leaders.
Speaking about this, Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has urged his side to get the win away against Valencia by all means.
“It’s going to be a huge game for us,” stressed Pulisic. “We just have to go there and get a result, and we are looking great to go through.
“It’s going to be really tight. It’s makes those next games that much more important. We know what we are capable of, and we just need to keep going.”
